A national fashion and lifestyle brand best known for its cult-favorite product, the Nap Dress, has opened a Charleston location.

Hill House Home’s newest store, which is the brand’s largest to date, is located at 145 King St., on the corner of King and Queen streets. It’s the retailer’s fourth location, after New York City, Palm Beach, Fla., and Nantucket, according to a news release. It will be opening a location in Dallas later this year.

The Charleston store will also feature Hill House’s first foray into hospitality: Nell’s. Named after founder and CEO, Nell Diamond, the store will feature an old school coffee and soda bar, along with a Pick ‘n Mix candy wall, the release stated.

Hill House has further expanded into clothing categories including ready to wear, swim, accessories and sleepwear, while growing its home offering across bedding, bath and baby, the release stated.

“We are thrilled to open Hill House Home in Charleston, which is such an incredible destination that I have always loved to visit,” Diamond said in the release. “We partnered with Amanda Lindroth to design the space, which is our biggest location yet. We’re so excited to welcome visitors to shop and to enjoy Nell’s.”

The store was designed by Amanda Lindroth, who also designed Hill House’s Palm Beach store, according to the release. Her inspiration behind the interiors was to create a clean, classic and feminine space incorporating traditional architectural elements Charleston is known for, the release stated. The Charleston location is three times the size of any current retail store for Hill House.

Nell’s is a food and beverage concept featuring an old school coffee and soda bar in partnership with Coca Cola and La Colombe, the release stated. The Pick ‘n’ Mix candy wall has a variety of British candies and is inspired by Nell’s childhood growing up in London.

Since launching in 2016 with bedding, Hill House Home has expanded into ready to wear, shoes and accessories, children’s, wallpaper and more.
