A global provider of solutions for heat transfer, separation and fluid handling is set to open a facility in Greer.

Alfa Laval’s state-of-the-art facility at Atlas at Inland Port Greer, which measures more than 25,000 square feet, is situated within the newly constructed Class A, multi-tenant industrial park, a joint venture of Warhaft Group and Atlas Capital Group, according to a news release.

The relocation comes as a strategic move driven by the expansion of the company’s research and development department at its Richmond headquarters and the burgeoning demand from its client base in the Southeast, the release stated.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our valued customers and partners,” said Ester Codina, president of Alfa Laval – North America, in the release. “Our new facility at Atlas at Inland Port Greer represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide innovative solutions and unparalleled service to industries across the region.”

Alfa Laval serves industries worldwide in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling, including sectors such as energy, marine, and food and water. With its new facility in Greer, Alfa Laval brings its solutions closer to industries on the East Coast, including oil and gas, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and power generation, the release stated.

Warren Zinn, principal of Atlas Capital Group, highlighted the key factors that attracted Alfa Laval to their location. “Our geographic proximity to their clients was undoubtedly appealing, but more significantly, our commitment to offering personalized assistance set us apart from national developers,” Zinn said in the release.

Dean Warhaft, principal of Warhaft Group, further commented on Atlas’s proactive involvement in the relocation process. “We were prepared to visit their facilities alongside our contractor and architect to facilitate the planning process even before finalizing the lease agreement,” Warhaft said in the release. “Additionally, we served as owners’ representatives, working closely with their Service Center Manager to ensure seamless execution.”
