Salesforce partner establishes operations in Charleston County

A well-known Salesforce partner organization has expanded to Charleston.

Dallas-based Solunus Inc., which has offices in Mexico, India and South Africa, will start operating from the Charleston Tech Center, according to a Solunus Inc. news release.

“Charleston has a vibrant, business-friendly environment that makes it the ideal location to expand our business operations,” Kirk Smith, director of business development at Solunus, said in the release. “I’m sure the city’s burgeoning technology ecosystem will enable us to take our growth story to the next level.”

Established in 2014, Solunus delivers end-to-end Salesforce services that enable businesses to provide positive experiences to clients and achieve rapid growth, the release stated. The company intends to add several positions at Charleston in the near future and will focus on catering to the requirements of public agencies, according to the release.

“We're delighted to expand our operations to Charleston,” Sudhakar Pennam, co-founder and CEO of Solunus Inc., said in the release. “The city has a thriving economy and is a fast-growing IT hub. Its excellent infrastructure and large community of skilled personnel render it an ideal destination for software and other technology organizations. The expansion will play a key role in enabling our company to provide even better services to our customers and forge stronger relationships with them.”

Financial details of the new office were not disclosed.
