A North Charleston hospitality group announced that the restaurant on one of its properties in North Charleston will now be open to the public via a private entryway.

Boris Van Dyck’s Success Street Hospitality’s Restaurant at Paradiso, the restaurant on the Paradiso property in North Charleston, was formerly only accessible to members, according to a news release.

Earlier this year, Success Street Hospitality acquired the former Mixson Bath & Racquet Club and has since done a complete structural and cosmetic overhaul to the entire property including the restaurant, pool deck and cabanas, event lawn, locker rooms, fitness and wellness centers, co-working and event space, and the Market at Paradiso, which is situated adjacent from the entrance to the social club, the release said.

The restaurant’s food menu, developed by Chef Julio Hermenejildo and Chef Patricia Van Hoorick, is inspired by French and Caribbean cuisine. Guests can look forward to new menu offerings like duck confit nachos, salt cod fritters, Croque Monsieur, Steak Frite, Mussels Marinier, and Bouillabaisse. In addition to the regular menu, guests can expect weekly and weekend brunch specials.

“When we first began this venture, it was our goal to create an oasis in North Charleston for neighborhood residents and beyond to enjoy,” said Van Dyck, owner of Success Street Hospitality. “We are thrilled to finally be at a place to welcome members and visitors to experience what we have created here.”

The Restaurant at Paradiso also hosts a variety of community events including live music, family friendly trivia nights, and vendor markets. Additionally, the restaurant's event space and the club's large outdoor spaces are available for private catered events, the release said.

The Restaurant at Paradiso’s current hours of operation are Wednesday through Friday, 12 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Happy Hour is Wednesday through Friday from 4 – 7 p.m., and the weekend brunch service runs on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
