Charleston Southern University will offer a 10-month accelerated online MBA program starting this fall. A flex MBA option has been in place at the university for several years for students who want a more traditional pace.

The 10-month accelerated MBA program will be taught in seven-week chunks to allow students to take four courses each semester, versus two. Flex MBA students can choose from online or on-campus courses and complete the program in as little as 17 months. Most flex courses will also be available in the seven-week format.

Both MBA options are 30-hour programs.

“Charleston Southern has prepared its MBA graduates with the skills for success in the world of business for nearly 30 years,” said Dr. Maxwell Rollins, the school’s graduate programs director. “Students will develop their skills and gain advanced knowledge to prepare them to meet greater challenges in the marketplace.”

A news release said prime candidates for the 10-month MBA program are recent graduates or professionals with a flexible schedule.

Rollins said each course in the program is infused with a biblical worldview.

“We believe that our MBA will help students in their calling to serve others so they can embed themselves in society and lead it to flourish,” Rollins said.

Priority admission applications for the 10-month MBA’s fall 2020 cohort are available until April 15. July 1 is the final deadline for all accelerated program applications, and Aug. 1 is the final deadline for the flex MBA program. The first 10-month MBA cohort will have 22 students.
