Accounting firm consolidates offices into larger space

In its step towards expansion, Jarrard, Nowell & Russell LLC is moving three of its offices into a new, larger space in Ladson.

Since its opening in 2005, the Charleston public accounting and business advisory firm has grown to four offices, and three will consolidate at 9403 U.S. Highway 78 at Ingleside Boulevard in Ladson, the company said in a news release.

The move, set to happen in early November, is twofold. Consolidation will create opportunities for more efficient practices companywide, and the new office will provide larger working areas and meeting spaces for the company.

“The consolidation is in response to a growing client and staff base and to make sure every team member has an optimum work experience,” said Chris Nowell, partner of Jarrard, Nowell & Russell LLC. “In our 15th year of business, we see this as a milestone and a reflection of the success we’re so grateful to have witnessed and to have shared with a great team and our wonderful clients.”

As part of the consolidation, the accounting firm is closing offices in Summerville, North Charleston and Moncks Corner. The 975 Morrison Drive location will remain open. Though it has offices in the Lowcountry, Jarrard, Nowell & Russell LLC serves clients throughout South Carolina, including Columbia and the Midlands.
