SBDC holding workshop on starting a small business

The S.C. Small Business Development Center in North Charleston is holding a workshop for startups and would-be entrepreneurs.

Attendees will learn about how a business is structured, how to write a business plan, about access to capital, insurance and market research. SBDC business consultant Robert Jones will be conducting the workshop.

The workshop is free to attend, but registration is required. The workshop is scheduled from 3-5 p.m., Sept. 11 at Trident United Way's community room at 6296 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston.
