A new tenant has signed up for a ground-floor retail space in Downtown Nexton, a planned community in Summerville.
Rita’s, an Italian ice and frozen custard retailer known for frozen treats, is the latest to join the community’s tenant list, according to a news release from Sharbell Nexton LLC.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rita’s as the latest addition to the Lofts Downtown Nexton,” Sharbell President Thomas Troy said in the news release. “By introducing a beloved, renowned brand such as Rita’s, our retail space continues to expand and attract new retailers, providing residents with a diverse range of conveniences.”
Occupying 1,716 square feet, Rita’s will join the Lofts’ list of confirmed lessees, including 1933 Wine and Spirits, The Groomsmith, iNails and Revive Health Studio. Upon completion of the next phases later this year, the Lofts Downtown Nexton will include residential amenities such as a clubhouse, resort-style pool with tanning shelves, firepit with seating areas, private cabanas, outdoor café tables and bar area and a dog park, the release stated.
