Laura Rittenberg, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in the Carolinas, is pleased to announce that more than $400,000 has been raised on behalf of the American Cancer Society for breast cancer awareness over the past nine years via Coldwell Banker Realty CARES Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Coldwell Banker Realty in the Carolinas.
On Sunday, October 22, the Charleston offices of Coldwell Banker Realty sponsored the 2023 Making Strides of Charleston walk for the American Cancer Society. “We are very grateful to the affiliated agents and staff who supported this event, which in turn allowed Coldwell Banker Realty CARES Foundation to provide more than $400,000 over the past nine years to the American Cancer Society on behalf of breast cancer awareness,” said Laura Rittenberg, president, Coldwell Banker Realty in Atlanta and the Carolinas.
This year, Rittenberg spoke at the opening of the walk held at Riverfront Park in North Charleston noting, “Get screened – I cannot stress the importance of being diligent and getting regular screenings. This is a disease that does not discriminate – males in my family have had breast cancer. Our journey does not end with the walk itself, so let’s continue to champion the cause of breast cancer awareness in our daily lives.”
