Edmund’s Oast Exchange is scheduled to host a Somm School 2.0 class from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24. The class will be led by certified sommelier Sarah O’Kelley. Herd Provisions will offer grass-fed hamburgers, and the shop will offer $3 house beers and $6 glasses of wine.

Tickets are $20 and $10 for food and beverage industry professionals.


Mount Pleasant-based Charlestowne Hotels has acquired The Cove of Lake Geneva in Wisconsin as the latest property to join the firm’s portfolio of managed properties. The Cove is Charlestowne’s first property in Wisconsin and second in the Great Lakes region.
