Hot Properties: Bilda Bike finds second location in North Charleston

Whit Jones of NAI Charleston recently assisted Bilda Bike in securing their second retail location and warehouse for inventory in the Park Circle community in North Charleston. The 3,000-square-foot building, located at 4263 Spruill Ave. in Charleston was previously occupied by an automotive company and will be repurposed to house the bicycle retailer.

Bilda Bike plans to open the retail location in 2023, at which time they will return to producing custom model bikes, according to a news release.

Jones represented the buyer, and Anne Lawless, Jeff Baxter and Jim Haley of Cityvolve Commercial Realty LLC represented the seller, MCDEW LLC. The property sold for $800,000.

“I was pleased to represent the buyer in this transaction,” Jones said in the news release. “The Park Circle area is continuing to grow, so it is great to see a local company such as Bilda Bike expand into this market.”

Robert Pratt of Re/Max Pro Realty represented the landlord, Seventeen A Associates LLC, in the lease of 4,500 square feet of flex space in Suite A1 at 1907 Varner St. in Summerville to Carelinc Medical Equipment & Supply Co. LLC. Keith Mayfield of Twin Rivers Capital represented the tenant.

Kip Bowman and Sara Bodell of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic represented the buyer in the sale of three acres of land at 3517 Maybank Highway in Charleston for $1,295,000. Eddie Hughes of the Beach Co. represented the seller.
