New indoor golf attraction with bar coming to Charleston

A new indoor golf facility, CHS Golf, is coming to 1919 Savannah Highway in the West Ashley area, with the opening planned for later this month.

CHS Golf will feature multiple indoor bays with TrackMan Simulators to play full courses, as well as putting greens, a pool table, foosball table, darts, full bar, and cigar bar, according to a news release from the company.

The TrackMan Simulator is a radar system that records a player’s data such as speed, attack angle and club path, according to the release. The simulators can be used to help golfers improve form and accuracy by measuring club delivery at impact and benchmarking skills. The simulators will allow CHS Golf players of all skill levels to compete in both virtual tournaments and real-time matches and will also allow each golfer to meet their own needs for both entertainment and training.

The facility will be open for daily players and offer memberships. Memberships will be limited and include discounts, keyless entry systems for 24-hour access, monthly prizes for the longest drive and other challenges. More information will be announced on the company’s Facebook page.
