Edmund’s Oast Exchange is hosting Beer School: Beer & Fancy Liquor Blending from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Advanced Cicerone Brandon Plyler will discuss the beer styles and characteristics that make certain beers partner well with certain spirits and fortified wines. Tickets are $20 per person.


Dough Boyz Pizza will serve a pop-up dinner at 492 starting at 5 p.m. today. The event will include a menu from 492 executive chef Josh Keeler and Dough Boyz executive chef Evan Romano.

Snacks, cocktails and antipasti will be served starting at 5 p.m. Pizza and the dinner menu will be available from 6 to 10 p.m.


The Glass Onion is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week with specials through Saturday, including a free Coast beer with an entree purchase and discounts on the More Glass Onion Classics cookbook. More giveaways are being announced on social media.

The restaurant is also hosting a special Wine & Canvas Class at 7 p.m. today. Tickets are $35 per person.


Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe has a new interior design at their restaurant at 306 King St. and a larger space at the to-go counter.

The new decor includes potted sunflowers, community tables, exposed stone and white shiplap walls; the color palette is bright white and deep blue.

The to-go counter expansion reflects the restaurant’s research indicating half of its business was takeout orders.
