Los Angeles-based clothing brand, Buck Mason, has to opened its first South Carolina retail location in Charleston.
The new Buck Mason store, 263 King St., totals 2,700 square feet, and offers updated American classics with a commitment to timelessness, quality and its California roots, the release stated.
“We’ve always felt a kinship to the Lowcountry. From the hardwood floors to the whitewashed walls, every small touch of our historic King Street shop brings together our California roots with a heap of Charleston’s Southern hospitality,” Buck Mason co-founder Erik Allen Ford said in the release.

Founded in 2013 in Venice, Calif., by Sasha Koehn and Ford, Buck Mason started out of a 350-square-foot garage with locally-made jeans and tees and a simple goal to make clothing that will stand the test of time, its website states.
From the start, the brand has remained committed to quality craftsmanship, combining old-school manufacturing techniques and modern technology to create wardrobe essentials, according to the site.
“Stop by for a taste — we’ve got a full range of men’s and women’s staples in store,” Koehn said in the release. “We can’t wait to see y’all.”
