 src=Firefly Distillery has released a new spirit, Distillery Expressions Low Country Gin. Made in small batches with organic juniper and botanicals, the new spirit is available for purchase at the distillery at 4201 Spruill Ave. in North Charleston. It will also be added as a part of the distillery’s tasting tour.

Three gin cocktails will also be added to the menu, including The Bluebird, with blueberry and lavender simple syrup and lemon juice; Garden Party, with honey basil soda and lemon juice; and the Distiller’s Gin & Tonic, with grapefruit and tonic syrup and lime juice. The cocktails use local mixers from Cannonborough Beverage Co., Bittermilk and Sallie’s Greatest.


 src=Table and Twine from Duvall Catering is offering two Thanksgiving packages, in addition to a la carte appetizers, side dishes, desserts, cocktail mixes, wines and floral arrangements.

The Classic Thanksgiving Package serves six to eight guests for $190. It includes a whole roasted or uncooked turkey, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, candied sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.

The South of Broad Package serves six to eight guests for $210. It includes a whole roasted or uncooked turkey, sage and cider pan gravy, apple and sausage cornbread dressing, roasted sweet potatoes and chocolate pecan pie.

Orders must be placed by noon Nov. 18. Packages will be available Nov. 24 and 25 for pickup at 2816 Azalea Drive in Charleston or can be delivered for an additional fee. Orders received by Oct. 31 will also include a free orange cranberry sparkler cocktail mix.
