 src=Hamby Catering & Events is offering a holiday party menu, now available at The Market at Hamby, located at 925 St. Andrews Blvd. in West Ashley.

The Jingle Bells Classic Cocktail Party Menu, priced at $235, serves up to 12 guests and includes peppercorn encrusted tenderloin of beef, Carolina pit ham on sweet potato biscuits and Mrs. Hamby’s chicken salad tea sandwiches. The package also includes Hamby Holiday Sweets, which comes with a variety of treats and can be ordered a la carte for $25.

Hamby is also offering a Signature Farm board and Southern Antipasto board. Both options serve 10 to 15 guests for $75 each.

A special holiday wine menu is also available, curated by sommelier Patrick Emerson of Curated Selections.

Hamby Catering is accepting orders now through the new year. Orders can be placed online or by phone. Advance notice of 24 hours is requested for all orders.


 src=GingerVine Street Food, owned by Caroline Campbell, will open Thursday at Workshop, a food court located in Pacific Box & Crate at 1503 King St. in Charleston.

Located next to Sushi-Wa Izakaya, the restaurant will serve seasonal produce. All food will be prepared in Workshop’s wood-burning oven.

Initial hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. GingerVine joins new concepts Mansueta’s Filipino food and Julius’ Delicatessen as tenants in Workshop.
