The Ride of Silence was held this week in Charleston as part of a national recognition of cyclists injured or killed while riding on public roads. The event was held in connection with Bike Month CHS.
The month of bicycle-related events includes programming and activities for cyclists at a variety of experience levels and ages. Today is Bike to Work Day, which includes a police escort for the evening commute from Marion Square of Brittlebank Park over to Half-Moon Outfitters. Find more information about today's ride and other events schedule through the month at the Charleston Moves website.
