The Dig South Tech Summit kicks off in downtown Charleston next week, bringing in entrepreneurs, investors, tech executives, marketers, founders, programmers and authors from around the country.
Dig South Founder Stanfield Gray said the tech conference, now in its seventh year, is an effort to highlight and grow the Southeast’s tech sector overall, positioning it be more competitive with tech hubs like Boston, New York City and Silicon Valley.
Gray added that the three-day conference gives companies access to global brands and creates space for attendees to connect. Those interactions can spur a venture capitalist to invest in a Southeast startup or a help a midsized business in Charleston gain insight from a seasoned executive on how to quickly scale operations, for example.
The 2019 Dig South Tech Summit will be April 24-26 at the Charleston Gaillard Center at 95 Calhoun St.
The 2019 theme is “What’s Your Story?” Attendees will hear from executives, founders and entrepreneurs about emerging technologies, financing, digital marketing, branding and growth strategies. Check out the agenda.
