Stage Front has grown from its Savannah, Ga roots to become a regionally based operation with a national footprint for systems delivery and support. Their core deliverables include audiovisual design, integration, technical services and live event support.

What started as a small company in 1978 selling theatrical lighting to the entertainment industry has evolved in size and scope. As the company celebrates its 40th anniversary, more than 80 full-time employees staff offices in Charleston, Atlanta and Savannah to provide a wide range of audio-visual services. Stage Front also has on-site resources in Charleston, Charlotte, Huntsville, Ala., Nashville, Tenn., and Philadelphia.

“Our journey has afforded us 40 years of experience, 40 years of creativity and 40 years of providing a better plan for audio visual services,” Vice President of Sales and Partner Chase Nelson said. “More importantly, our journey has given us the stability and expertise to establish our place in the future of the industry.”

With systems operating in 37 states, Stage Front has become a leader in audio-visual and performance lighting design.

During the past 40 years, Stage Front has provided professional consultation, design, integration, and maintenance for commercial audio, video, and production lighting systems. Some solutions include video collaboration, distance learning, training applications and theatrical systems.

Stage Front has focused on a consultative approach as it has grown in serving the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Their core customers are in corporate enterprise, higher education, performing arts and regional government.

Another factor that is fueling Stage Front’s growth is Onsite Technical Services. For example, the company has numerous employees providing onsite support for clients such as The Boeing Company, Bridgestone Americas and Red Ventures. Stage Front has had an office in the Charleston area for the past seven years and sees the Lowcountry as a prime spot for growth as more companies and people are attracted to its vibrant business climate and quality of life.

“The next couple of years will be an exciting time for Stage Front and Charleston,” Vice President of Technical Operations and Partner Robert Hammond said.  “Our focus on working as a true partner throughout the entire lifecycle of design, implement, and manage provides great value to companies. Our expertise in managing the technology needs of mid-to-large enterprises, combined with our history in the area, means we’re well prepared to expand our offerings to many new partners.”

Much of Stage Front’s growth can be attributed to recurring business with established customers and partners alike. Clients have learned to trust Stage Front’s expertise and support, even through last-minute changes and unforeseen circumstances.

Stage Front has the experience among its staff, many of whom have been with the company for 20 or 30 years, to design, create and support a wide variety of audio-visual projects.

While technologies and markets may change, Stage Front’s leadership, creativity and strong core values will continue to drive them for years to come.
