Palmetto Moon is expanding once again.

The Southern lifestyle retailer founded in Charleston is preparing to open its 29th store in the Southeast at the Epps Bridge Centre in Athens, Georgia. The two-day grand opening will be held July 24 and 25, the company said in a news release.

“We are so excited to expand our presence in Georgia,” said Palmetto Moon Chief Brand Officer Amber Dube in the release. “From our humble beginnings as a kiosk in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2002 to now having 29 brick-and-mortar locations in six states across the Southeast and counting is a huge privilege, and one we never take for granted.”

The 7,000-square-foot floorplan makes way for the company’s array of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, home and gift items, collegiate gear, footwear and other trending products and brands.

“We authentically reflect the different facets of Southern life in all that we do, from the way we interact with our customers to the product assortment displayed throughout our stores,” said John Thomas, CEO. “Our retail formula offers a shopping destination for all generations, as well as the ability to shop in one place.”

The 29 Palmetto Moon stores are located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.
