Campers Inn RV acquires Palmetto RV & Marine

Campers Inn RV has acquired Palmetto RV & Marine in Moncks Corner.

Palmetto RV & Marine, founded more than 20 years ago, sells new and used boats and recreational vehicles from manufacturers including Heartland RV and Forest River.

With the acquisition, Campers Inn RV will now have two locations in South Carolina and five dealerships in the Carolinas. The family-operated company has headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla. Its dealer network now includes 27 locations on the East Coast and Midwest.

In a news release, Jeff Hirsch, owner and president of Campers Inn RV, said the company is always looking for ways to deepen its network and grow with customers as they travel across the United States.

Palmetto RV & Marine Co-owner Mike Arnau said he and his family considered the needs of Charleston campers when considering the buyout offer from Hirsch and his team.

“And I truly believe that the team at Campers Inn RV are honest campers who not only care about your family, but also your family vacation,” Arnau said.

Palmetto RV & Marine will remain open as it transitions into the Campers Inn RV organization.
