Fashion Plate features trunk shows, fashion events and style showcases in the Charleston area. ATTENTION: Submissions should now be made using our online form.

Vineyard vines has redesigned its 275 King St. women’s apparel store. The updates are intended to “look and feel like the Good Life,” according to a news release, and the store now includes more sizes and styles.

The new space will be unveiled at 10 a.m. Friday morning with a partnership with the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry. All purchases between 10 a.m. and noon will be discounted 10%, and 10% will also be donated to the museum. The morning will include light refreshments and live music.


   

 

Mount Pleasant-based clothing designer Cristy Pratt has created a Capsule Convertible dress for her Morph Clothing brand that can be worn in more than 60 ways. The dress recently headlined at the Trans, Media & Fashion Show at Chicago Fashion Week.

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown recently wore the dress during an appearance on the TV show The Real. And TV producer and entrepreneur Mona-Scott Young wore different versions of it at the Revolt Summit and at the BET Her Awards.
