Madewell adds men’s shop to King Street location

Madewell has added a men’s shop to its store on King Street in Charleston.

The men’s shop-in-shop opened today as a pop-up in the existing store. Madewell launched its men’s line in September 2018, according to an email from the company. The Madewell brand also includes women’s styles.

“We’re bringing our newest men’s offerings to our Charleston store and couldn’t be more excited,” said Joyce Lee, Madewell’s head of design. “With the opening of our first men’s Shop-in-Shop in South Carolina (and the South), our customers can shop the full men’s assortment, including our premium denim and everything that goes with it.”

Madewell’s men’s line includes the brand’s signature denim styles. The fall line features T-shirts, sweatshirts, button-downs and accessories including bags, hats and wallets.

Men’s offerings can also be found online.

An opening event for the shop-in-shop is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. RSVP is requested online.

The Madewell store is open from 10 to 6 p.m. at 282 King St. in Charleston. The location offers denim recycling, hemming and one-on-one styling.
