Airbnb has expanded its Disaster Response Program to include parts of South Carolina, allowing hosts in the area to list free temporary lodging for evacuees and emergency relief workers.

Hosts in Beaufort, Colleton and Jasper counties are able to list their homes for no charge on Airbnb, with taxes and service fees waived.

Greenville-Spartanburg, Rock Hill and Anderson are also included in the program.

People interested in listing their homes may go to airbnb.com/disaster to sign up. People who aren’t already Airbnb hosts may also sign up.

The listings default to being visible only to nonprofits who specialize in finding temporary housing for people in need. This can be changed, though, individually by the host.

The $0 listings are available until Sept. 28.

Other areas that Airbnb has opened up for the program are Chapel Hill, Durham, Fayetteville, Greensboro and Winston-Salem in North Carolina; Atlanta, Augusta, Decatur County, Grady County and Thomas County in Georgia; Mobile, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Decatur and Florence in Alabama; and the Panhandle of Florida.
