East West Partners recently broke ground on a condominium development in downtown Charleston.
The Gadsden, which will be built next to Gadsdenboro Park near Concord and Calhoun streets, will include 76 one-, two- and three-bedroom units. They’ll range in price from $400,000 to more than $1 million, according to a news release.
“The development will offer a living experience unlike anything currently available on the peninsula, and it perfectly encapsulates East West’s ‘urban resort’ concept that allows luxurious living in the middle of all that historic downtown Charleston has to offer,” said Miller Harper, partner-in-charge in South Carolina for East West Partners, in the news release.
The Gadsden will include a pool and outdoor kitchen and will be five stories tall over a level of parking, the news release said. It’s expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Trident Construction is responsible for construction of the project. Cooper Carry is the project’s architect, and Cortney Bishop Design Group is the interior designer. Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group arranged financing for the project with Bank of the Ozarks, the news release said.
The company has acquired 299 East Bay St. for its Charleston headquarters and sales center. The office is expected to open in March, the news release said.
East West Partners also recently completed construction of Tides IV, a 54-unit condominium in Mount Pleasant, and was behind One Vendue Range and the City Gallery at Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston.
