Flowers Foods facility in North Charleston. (Photo/Provided)The Net Lease Group announced the sale of a 15,820 square-foot Flowers Foods facility in North Charleston for $4,250,000. At the sale, the tenant had a remaining lease term of 6.5 years to Derst Baking Co., a wholly owned operating subsidiary of Flowers Foods Inc. Flowers Foods generated 2021 sales of $4.33 billion through a nationwide network of 47 bakeries that operate as wholly owned subsidiaries. Flowers’ mix of brands includes Nature’s Own, Wonder Bread and Sunbeam, along with organic brands Dave’s Killer Bread and Alpine Valley Organic.


NAI Charleston facilitated the sale of a free-standing retail building in McCauley Square, located at 5086 Sunset Blvd. in Lexington. The property was 100% occupied and leased under triple net terms to Konnichiwa restaurant and H&R Block.  The seller, TW Investments LLC, was represented by Dexter Rumsey of NAI Charleston. The property was sold for $1.36 million.

Steve Hund of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic represented the buyer, Queen Street Hospitality, in the sale of 900 square feet of office space at 102 Wappoo Creek Drive in Charleston.


Hannah Kamba and Tim Rowley of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic represented the tenant in the lease of 1,600 square feet of retail space at Moncks Corner Market Place in Moncks Corner.
