A Dallas company has acquired Eastport Commerce Center, an industrial space and warehouse development in Summerville.

Dalfen Industrial, a national buyer and developer of industrial real estate, particularly in last-mile property sector, acquired the 127,557-square-foot property, the company said in a news release. The acquisition adds to Dalfen Industrial’s 13 million square feet of property that it owns and operates in the Southeast.

“With the completion of the building expansion at 104 Pinnacle Way, we are able to service the robust tenant demand for Class-A smaller bay space,” said Kevin Caille, Market Officer of Dalfen’s Southeast Region. “We are excited for our continued growth of our portfolio with the ability to provide differentiated opportunities to the Charleston market.”

With the property’s proximity to the expanding Interstate 26 corridor, Sean Dalfen, president and chief investment officer, said Eastport Commerce Center is the “perfect addition” to the company’s Carolinas portfolio, which includes strategically located urban infill warehouses and distribution buildings.

“The increasing port activity, high tenant demand and population growth in Charleston are primary drivers for our continued expansion in the area,” Dalfen said.
