Aviation Business Park sells for $69M

Aviation Business Park, a 342,000-square-foot business park in North Charleston, has sold for $69 million, according to Lee & Associates Charleston. The firm represented the buyer, Greenville Corporate LLC, which bought the site from Rushmark Properties.
The property, developed in 2001, has seven buildings and sits on 29 acres along Interstate 26 between Remount Road and Aviation Avenue. Tenants include HITT Contracting, Samet Corp., DHL, Secure Missions, Centurum and Nolan Transportation Group.
“With the Charleston market increasing by a net 34 people (per) day, and with international companies located here such as Boeing, Volvo, and Mercedes Benz, the Charleston area continues to be a place where investors from all over the world want to invest,” Reid Davis, managing principal of Lee and Associates Charleston, said in a news release.
