One80 Place is hosting its eighth annual Turkey and a $20 donation drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 24.

Individuals, businesses and organizations are asked to collect and drop off monetary contributions, grocery gift cards and turkeys and hams. Donations will go to the community kitchen, which produces meals to support shelter clients and some off-site locations.

This year, the goal is to raise $30,000 and 300 grocery gift cards for $20 each. Community members can also pledge their support by buying a turkey online starting Nov. 1.

The Palmetto Military Support Group will host its Red, White and Blue Golf Tournament on Nov. 12 at The Links at Stono Ferry. Portions of the proceeds will go toward veteran organizations in the community, as well as continuing to support the Charleston military.

For the seventh year in a row, Hamby Catering has partnered with the Lowcountry Food Bank to sponsor a Thanksgiving meal for a local family in need for every Gobble Gobble package purchased off their Thanksgiving menu.

The Gobble Gobble package can serve eight for $179 or four for $129. Both sizes include roasted turkey, baked macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, green beans, cornbread dressing and turkey gravy. Customers can also upgrade to a bourbon-smoked turkey that comes with cranberry orange relish.

All package items can be ordered a la carte, along with other sides, desserts and wines. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. Nov. 21 and can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Market at Hamby, located at 925 St. Andrews Blvd.

The Breast Place has partnered to help raise funds and awareness for The Lonon Foundation through the Botox for Breasts campaign and other fundraising initiatives.

Through the campaign, The Breast Place will donate $1 for every unit of Botox sold to The Lonon Foundation. Additionally, a joint holiday fundraiser will be held Dec. 5 at Kendra Scott at 270 King St., Suite A.
