Helping Out for May 1, 2019

Helping Out highlights some of the many charitable events and activities going on in the Charleston area. ATTENTION: Submissions should now be made using our online form.

Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust’s second annual Woods & Water event is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Cainhoy Plantation. The event includes Lowcountry food, open bar, music and a silent auction of outdoor experiences.

Member tickets are $50 and non-member tickets are $75. Proceeds will benefit Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust’s conservation work in the Lowcountry.

Trident Technical College Foundation and the Culinary Institute of Charleston are scheduled to host fundraising event Bubbles & Blingo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the College Center on Thornley Campus in North Charleston. The event includes champagne, an open bar, brunch and bingo. Individual tickets are $100.
