A Closer Look

2018 Top achievements:

Thanks to a significant investment from Ingevity, the Aquarium launched the RESPOND plastic pollution gallery within Zucker Family Sea Turtle Recovery, and the In Our Hands Plastic Pollution Campaign. Collectively, we have provided nearly 500,000 people with important information regarding the environmental issues caused by single-use plastic consumption, and have mobilized more than 35 local litter sweeps to remove an estimated 140,000 pieces of trash from our environment.

2019 Goals:

The Aquarium will conclude a six-year initiative to raise $25 million by 2020 through the Watershed Campaign, a comprehensive plan to grow the Aquarium’s education footprint statewide, and to establish our voice as a regional leader in conservation. Sponsorship in 2019 will be applied to one of our STEM education programs or to the operations of Zucker Family Sea Turtle Recovery, the state’s only state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility for sick and injured sea turtles.

The Aquarium also offers membership to the Corporate Circle, starting at $3,000 per year, which provides company employees with special benefits and opportunities throughout the year.
