Coastal Conservation League to relocate Charleston office

The Coastal Conservation League is relocating its Charleston office, moving into part of Tiger Lily florist’s space on Spring Street.

The league plans to move in March, according to a news release, having outgrown its current space at 328 East Bay St.

Tiger Lily will retain 1,000 square feet of its space at 131 Spring St. for its retail boutique, but it is relocating its office operation to its new James Island location at 1614 Camp Road. The Coastal Conservation League will use the other 5,800 square feet of the former service station-turned-flower shop.

“The atmosphere of 131 Spring St. is positive and generates a sense of community, an embrace of heritage and history, and the energy and enthusiasm for our next great chapter,” league Executive Director Laura Cantral said in the release. “We believe 131 Spring St. can and will serve as a gathering place for all who want to collaborate on new conservation opportunities and tackle local and statewide challenges.”

Coastal Conservation League also has offices in Beaufort, Georgetown and Columbia, as well as its GrowFood Carolina facility at 990 Morrison Drive in downtown Charleston.

Tiger Lily opened the James Island location in September as its main hub and renovated the Spring Street location, with the intent of keeping some retail space there but leasing the rest of the building.
