Good Done Great acquires Washington-based company

Good Done Great, a North Charleston software firm that helps employees give to nonprofits, has acquired Tacoma, Wash.-based WPG Solutions.

WPG Solutions’ software also provides ways for companies and employees to give to causes.

The acquisition price was not disclosed.

All WPG employees will become Good Done Great employees. Brandon Fix, president and CEO of WPG Solutions, will become Good Done Great’s vice president of enterprise business development.

Good Done Great’s Lowcountry office employs 56 people at 3955 Faber Place in North Charleston. The tech firm, founded in 2008, also has offices in Tacoma and Stuart, Fla., according to its website.

In a news release announcing the acquisition, Good Done Great CEO David Barach said, “By adding WPG Solutions’ expertise in working with corporate workplace giving programs to Good Done Great, we further our goal of providing the best CSR experience for businesses of all sizes.”

Good Done Great has about 80 Fortune 1,000 clients, including Nike, Gulfstream and Home Depot. To date, the company has processed more than $500 million in donations on behalf of tens of thousands of charities around the globe, according to a news release.
