Small-business owners can attend a free workshop Monday to learn how to best boost their presence and engage with customers on Facebook, according to a news release.
The National Black Chamber of Commerce and the S.C. African American Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Facebook to bring the Boost Your Business seminar to Charleston. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Charleston Gaillard Center.
U.S. Sen. Tim Scott will start the day, followed by a Facebook small-business expert who will share best practices with attendees. A panel of local business owners will share stories, and audience members can ask questions. Participating panel businesses include: Black Southern Belle, BoldandSassy Hair Desighns, Charleston Gourmet Burgers and Larger than Life Events.
“To watch small businesses access international markets and markets all across the United States is an opportunity that no small business can afford to miss,” Stephen Gilchrist, chairman of the S.C. African American Chamber of Commerce, said in the news release.
