Berkeley County is kicking off a new initiative next month that will connect citizens with open government positions.

“Working Wednesdays” formed out of a partnership between the Berkeley County Government and the Berkeley County Library System. The program will repeat monthly from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a different library branch around the county.

· March 2: Moncks Corner Library, 1003 U.S. Highway 52 N., Moncks Corner

· April 6: St. Stephen Library, 113 Ravenell Drive, St. Stephen

· May 4: Hanahan Library, 1216 Old Murray Drive, Hanahan

· June 1: Goose Creek Library, 325 Old Moncks Corner Road, Goose Creek

Attendees should bring their resume as opportunities will be available on site to apply for open positions.
