Honeysuckle Rose, the latest from Free Reign Restaurants, opens Sept. 15 at 237 Fishburne St. in Charleston. (Photo/Provided)Honeysuckle Rose, the latest concept from Ryan and Kelleanne Jones of Free Reign Restaurants, is set to open on the west side of the Charleston Peninsula on Friday, Sept. 15.

The husband-and-wife team are known for their previous successes in the greater Charleston area, including Southbound in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood and Community Table and BarPizza in Mount Pleasant.

“We are so excited to introduce Honeysuckle Rose to the community,” Kelleanne Jones said in a news release. “We truly envision this space as an opportunity to slow down, be in the moment, and immerse yourselves in the experience.”

The Joneses bring a wealth of food and beverage experience to the new project, priding their Free Reign name on dreaming up unique culinary concepts designed to integrate and compliment their surrounding communities, the news release state. Before moving to Charleston, they owned a high-end catering company and several restaurants including the former award-winning Mill At 2t in Connecticut.

Southbound, the team’s most recent venture earned a spot on the Eater Carolinas heat map for the last six consecutive months.

Honeysuckle Rose will feature a fixed, eight-course tasting menu with wine pairings. The menu will rotate every four weeks, highlighting unique, seasonal ingredients each month, the release stated. Dark textures, flowers, and candlelight will be the backdrop to an intimate dining room. Curated by Free Reign Restaurants Director of Beverage and Hospitality Operations Shane Meszaros, the concept’s wine menu will rotate in tandem with the food each month.

Honeysuckle Rose is located at 237 Fishburne St. in the space previously occupied by Purlieu — The Jones’ favorite restaurant before it closed. Dinner will be served Wednesday through Saturday, with a 7 p.m. seating on Wednesday and Thursday and two seatings at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Reservations can be made online
