The S.C. Restaurant and Lodging Association will host its 68th annual Stars of South Carolina Hospitality Awards on Feb. 1 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia. Winners will be announced at the gala. Information about tickets and sponsorship opportunities can be found online. Tickets are $40 for members and $55 for non-members.
Pink Cactus and Mansueta’s Filipino Food are partnering to host a three-course tasting event at 6 p.m. Jan. 31. The cost is $45 a person.
The courses will include chorizo, lumpia and shrimp with assorted drink pairings. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time, but walk-ins are also welcome.
