Charleston Wine & Food is set to host Steve Palmer for a discussion of his book, Say Grace: How the Restaurant Industry Saved My Life. Palmer is the managing partner and founder of The Indigo Road Hospitality Group and chairman of the board of Charleston Wine & Food.

The event will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Charleston Wine & Food Kitchen, in Suite 101 at 635 Rutledge Ave. Kat Kinsman, senior editor of Food & Wine magazine, will interview Palmer about his book, his restaurants and what it takes to overcome addiction and stay sober in the food and beverage industry.

Tickets are $50 and include a signed copy of the book. All proceeds will benefit Ben’s Friends, a nonprofit organization offering support groups and fellowship for those struggling with substance abuse and addiction in the food and beverage industry.
