Edmund’s Oast Exchange is scheduled to host Rose Fest from 1 to 3 p.m. April 20. This will be a tasting and celebration of 2018 rose wine upstairs in the shop. There will be four tasting stations set up with different distributors. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the shop on the day of the event. Tickets can be used towards 20% off any bottles of rose wines purchased that day.
Holy City Hospitality is set to host Taste of Hutson Alley from 6 to 9 p.m. May 9. The event will include chef-attended stations from six restaurants and dessert samplings from Good Food Catering. Tickets are $65.
Tropical Grille has opened its first North Charleston restaurant at 3032 W. Montague Ave., next to Tanger Outlets Charleston. The Cuban-inspired restaurant is scheduled to host its opening celebration from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. The event will include free food, games and live music. Restaurant hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
