On the Menu provides the latest news from the Charleston area’s culinary community, including new restaurants, new menu items and upcoming events, as well as details about local chefs. ATTENTION: Submissions should now be made using our online form.

The Parlour and Parcel 32 are scheduled to host a Galentine’s Day event from 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13. The event includes skinny cocktails, $1.50 oysters, champagne specials and chocolates. The Parlour’s full bar menu, cocktails, petit fours, wine and beer will also be available for purchase.

Parcel 32 is also set to host a Valentine’s Day event from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 14. Executive chef Shaun Brian will offer a four-course menu. Cost for dinner, not including wine pairings, is $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
