On the Menu provides the latest news from the Charleston area’s culinary community, including new restaurants, new menu items and upcoming events, as well as details about local chefs. ATTENTION: Submissions should now be made using our online form.

Edmund’s Oast Exchange and certified sommelier Sarah O’Kelley are set to offer a series of Saturday Somm Schools starting 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 26. The classes are aimed at individuals who are contemplating taking an entry-level wine certification or for anyone looking to enhance their wine aptitude.

The 12-week series costs $20 per class. Classes are stand alone. Food and beverage industry employees can attend for $10 per class by using the code sommfandb when checking out online.
