Wild Dunes Resort is scheduled to host Wines of Concha y Toro & Food of Chile, a five-course dinner with Chilean-inspired dishes and wine pairings, at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at Coastal Provisions.

Tickets are $120 per seat. Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 800-845-8880.

(Photo/Provided by South City PR)Neighborhood bistro and eatery Purlieu has opened at 237 Fishburne St. The restaurant serves dishes that are inspired by European cooking, French technique and culinary traditions of the Lowcountry.

Edmund’s Oast Exchange is hosting a Holiday Wine & Beer Tasting and Sale from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Certified sommelier Sarah O’Kelley and advanced cicerone Brandon Plyler will be available to assist with shopping.

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. is set to host free live music at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Dallas Baker and Friends will perform Wednesday, The Blues Greens will perform on Dec. 13, Hans Wenzel & The Eighty Sixers Trio will perform on Dec. 20 and Sunflowers and Sin will perform on Dec. 27.

The Woody Variety Show will be Mondays at 7 p.m., with trivia, singing, jokes, tricks and more. And happy hour is daily from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Daniel Island Grille is scheduled to host a holiday event from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 24, with an ugly sweater contest, homemade eggnog, complimentary rum balls and drink specials.

The restaurant will also be raffling off a backpack full of goods provided by Sierra Nevada during the event. Customers who purchase a Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA from now through that day will receive a raffle ticket.

Daniel Island Grille is also accepting donations for Toys For Tots.

And on New Year’s Eve, the restaurant will have drink specials all night, a champagne toast at midnight and a complimentary breakfast buffet at midnight.
