Charleston Hospitality Group has acquired its first Mount Pleasant property, a dueling piano bar and restaurant on Hungryneck Boulevard.
Fill Restaurant & Bar offers live piano music Tuesday through Sunday evenings and dueling piano shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
In a statement, Charleston Hospitality Group CEO Sam Mustafa said he plans to increase Fill’s emphasis on food with a new bistro-style menu and weekly specials from Eli’s Table, a downtown Charleston restaurant also owned by the group.
“It is all about excellent food, and the piano and entertainment is a plus,” he said. “It’s a win-win for our guests.”
Some new food items include a maple chili glazed bone-in pork chop with macaroni and cheese and Brussels sprouts; lamb meatballs; and roasted corn and jalapeno bisque.
A spokeswoman for Charleston Hospitality Group said the current staff is remaining in place for now, but the company has added a general manager to assist with the ownership transition.
Charleston Hospitality Group currently owns 10 restaurants and event venues in the Charleston area, including Toast, Queology, Tabbuli and HonkyTonk Saloon, as well as Charleston Hospitality Catering and the party transportation service Party Rollers.
