“We receive requests every day for weddings, rehearsal dinners and evening business outings that are difficult to provide for our customers with our current restaurants,” Bill Hall Sr., president and CEO of Hall Management Group, said in a statement. “This property will provide us with much-needed event space.”
The space at 5 Faber St. is over 7,000 square feet, with a 1,564-square-foot kitchen, full bar, lobby with a baby grand piano, and lounge area.
Capital Bank provided financing for the purchase. Jennifer Kleckley will manage the new space and event reservations for Hall Management Group, according to a news release.
Minor cosmetic changes are expected at Slightly North of Broad with the acquisition, the news release said, including the relocation of the restrooms. The new property will also add a walk-in cooler and freezer, the release said.
Hall Management Group also owns two Halls Chophouses, in downtown Charleston and Greenville, respectively; High Cotton in downtown Charleston; Old Village Post House in Mount Pleasant, and Rita’s Seaside Grille on Folly Beach.
