Naval Information Warfare Center names new executive director

Naval Information Warfare Systems Command has selected Peter C. Reddy as executive director of Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic.

Reddy has served as the center’s acting executive director since July, after Christopher Miller’s departure, and was previously deputy executive director since January.

ReddyAs executive director, Reddy will set strategic goals for Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and will manage engineering and business operations for more than 4,900 federal civilian and military employees, according to a news release.

Reddy entered federal civil service as a chief engineer for the Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Solutions Sub-portfolio at Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic. He was selected in 2015 as systems engineer for the Marine Corps and Special Operations Command Portfolio. In 2017, Reddy was selected as Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic’s chief engineer/5.0 engineering competency lead.

Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic provides systems engineering and acquisition to deliver information warfare capabilities to the naval, joint and national warfighter.
