The Beach Co. has topped out The Jasper, a new, luxury, 12-story mixed-use building in the Harleston Village neighborhood of Charleston.

The Jasper, at 310 Broad St., will include class AAA office space, rental homes, dining and retail options, plus views of the Charleston waterfront and peninsula. The development includes 219 luxury rental homes, 75,000 square feet of office space and 25,000 square feet of first-floor retail space with an enclosed parking garage, a news release said.

The Jasper will include retail, office, residential and parking space. (Photo/Provided)Studios and one- and two-bedroom residential spaces are available. A mix of retail options will be offered, and the campus will include walkways and parks.

“The Jasper’s location, which allows for unmatched views in every direction, along with its premier amenities, is what makes this a one-of-a-kind legacy project and the finest building in Charleston,” Beach Co. CEO John Darby said. “Since day one, we have recognized The Jasper as a jewel in the city’s architectural crown, and it is appropriate to have reached this milestone in The Beach Co.’s 75th year in business – our diamond anniversary.”

No opening date has been set for The Jasper, but The Beach Co. is currently leasing retail and office space, and a reservation list has been started for the residential spaces. Spokeswoman Kelsey Donnelly said the first rental residences are scheduled to open in late 2020.

The Jasper was designed by Antunovich Associates of Chicago in partnership with LS3P and DesignWorks of Charleston, the release said. The project’s general contractor is Balfour Beatty.
