Choate Construction opens Nashville office

General contractor Choate Construction Co. has opened an office in Nashville, Tenn., its sixth office in the Southeast.

Choate, headquartered in Atlanta, has a regional office in Mount Pleasant. It provides general contracting and construction management services in several market sectors, including automotive, health care, hospitality, multifamily and retail.

The Nashville office is led by Division Manager Matt Relick. Previous work by Choate in Tennessee includes a Georgia Pacific distribution center; The Icon in the Gulch mixed-use project; the Rhythm at Music Row condos; and other senior living, automotive and corporate projects.

Additionally, founder and Executive Chairman Millard Choate was born and raised in Nashville, attending Father Ryan High School and Vanderbilt University.

“While some may see us as new to the market, in many ways, it feels like we’re coming home,” Relick said in a news release.

Choate recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and transitioned to being 100% employee-owned.
