Floyd Lee Locums opens expanded Charleston headquarters

Floyd Lee Locums has unveiled its new Charleston office.

The newly renovated space, at 4900 O’Hear Ave., Suite 106, North Charleston, provides a modern headquarters for the company, which is entering its sixth year of operation, a Floyd Lee Locums news release stated.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, March 14. 

The ceremony was officiated by North Charleston Mayor R. Keith Summey and included remarks from Floyd Lee Locums Chief Operating Officer Nicole Burleson and Tim Rogers, vice president of engagement.

“We are thrilled to have a new presence in Charleston that reflects our commitment to growth and continuing to deliver on our mission of connecting clinicians to purposeful work,” said CEO Natasha Lee in the release. “Our new space enables us to better serve our health care providers and clients nationwide and better engage with our local community.”

Dan Sherer with Sherer & Associates was the architect on the project; Josh Tarr with Carolina Interiors was the contractor. The cost of the project, which measures 6,000 square feet, was about $300,000.

Cameron Yost from Lee & Associates was the broker for the project. Floyd Lee Locums signed a five-year lease .

Since 2017, Floyd Lee Locums has been reinventing health care staffing through its concierge approach to locums, the release stated. With the opening of its new office, the company looks to continue disrupting the staffing industry.

Floyd Lee Locums has approximately 15 Charleston-based employees, and 94 total. The expansion will serve as its headquarters and offer up a national hub for trainings and annual meetings, and more, according to an email from the company.
