A new Charleston Metro Chamber program has been developed to help newcomers learn about the most important economic aspects of the region.

Charleston Insight is a 12-week program specifically directed at senior-level executives and business owners, as well as their partners or spouses. Participants will learn about the chamber’s key initiatives and immediate challenges and opportunities within the region.

The program hosts six sessions, including two dinners, with high-level speakers who are decision-makers in their industry. Session topics for Charleston Insight , presented by JP Morgan, include:

· Historical Perspective and Local Government

· Infrastructure & Economic Development

· A Military and Defense Community

· Education, Workforce and Talent Development

· Regional Healthcare Landscape

· Nonprofit and Community Impact

“We are thrilled to offer a program that we believe will be extremely impactful to executives in our region,” said Adrian Cain, senior vice president of leadership and community development for the Charleston Metro Chamber. “Charleston Insight will give participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in our community and network with fellow leaders that share their strong purpose for making a deeper impact in our region.”

Tuition is $2,000 per couple and is limited to 15 couples. Applications will be accepted for the inaugural Charleston Insight class through April 1.
