Entrepreneurs’ Organization to host global conference next week

The global networking organization Entrepreneurs’ Organization is hosting a five-day conference next week in Charleston designed to help its members grow as business leaders.

Nerve 2019 Charleston is scheduled for Sept. 24-27 at various Charleston venues. More than 800 entrepreneurs from around the world have registered for the event, according to a news release. Former Ford Motor Co. CEO Alan Mulally will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers include S.C. Gov. Henry McMaster, former Charleston Mayor Joe Riley and National Park Service superintendent Tracy Stakely.

Entrepreneurs’ Organization is an international network of more than 14,000 entrepreneurs. It offers forum meetings, chapter and global events, leadership development programs and executive education to business owners in various industries.

The EO Charleston chapter was launched earlier this year with 16 founding members.

EO Charleston will host a happy hour welcome event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Stars Restaurant in Charleston, the release said. Local entrepreneurs interested in joining the organization can attend to event to speak with the EO members from chapters around the world. Advance registration is required for the happy hour.
